40 over 40 session with Mercy became a double feature when her mother Venus decided to join in for her own shoot on the same day. Their story begins as Pakistani immigrants to the Monroe area when Venus was young and secretly married to her sweetheart and continues today with their thriving family. It’s an incredibly sweet story they shared with me during their session. Mercy is a local optometrist and mother of two who wanted to show her girls it’s important to do something just for yourself sometimes. These two were an incredible duo to experience. Our day was full of laughter, encouragement, sharing of their culture and some very beautiful smiles.
